This marvellous example of a Pioneer EA-10 eXclusive tonearm is completely Ikeda silver rewired. The Micro Seiki base taking up the huge lower part of this tonearm was especially designed for this arm and made in Japan.

Very nice! Do you have the base tightening tool?

With havin so much content do you ever run into any problems of plagorism or copyright violation? My website has a lot of exclusive content I”ve either authored myself or outsourced but it seems a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my agreement. Do you know any methods to help reduce content from being ripped off? I”d certainly appreciate it.

I understand your concern. The only way to respond is to postmark a watermark in the middle of the image. But regarding it is just a hobby – so what?

Very nice, robust looking arm.
Mine is on the way directly from Japan.
I’m courious how will perform comparrig to my Micro MAX-282. Their design is very similar.
Mine also is complete with both pipes but unfortunately there is no attached manual of it. Could you share with me somehow?
I recognized on your photos a removable part (disc shape) at top of the arm body what probably is missed on mine.
What is this, what is the function of this part?
To replace the 30 year old, probably oxidized copper wire would be an option to me…
How could you managed to rewire this tonearm?
Has been rewired also the body or just the pipes?
Do you know here in Europe a reliable person how is expert to do such job, maybe for MAX-282 as well?
Thanks a lot.

Hello Eckart,
I am ready to mount this tonearm (Dietrich silver/rewired of course) and I cannot find data of “pivot to spindle” and overhang distances. Could you give this data please ?
Thanks a lot.

Hi, I may be a little late on the question regarding this tonearm; I am having mine on the way from HK to mount on my Micro RS-5000, and I would like to re-wire it. Can you please suggest someone who can do this or if, being quite manual, I can do this myself? Thanks a lot, Salvo

Hi Salvo,
I already sold it, with manual.
For rewiring you may get in touch with Acoustical Systems, Dietrich Brakemeier

Hello Eckart,
now I also know your nickname on Audiogon 🙂
Well finally Dietrich Brakemeier wrote back to me and now my EA-10 is leaving for his workshop for a pure silver rewiring.
I am excited at the prospect of listening to my record using a whole new chain with a Hashimoto HM-7 SUT , SW1X LPU II Special Pre, and Ortofon Windfeld, and HANA ML carts.
Regards,
salvo
