This is a somehow 12 year old digital technology of dCS showing the DAC which is feeded by the upsampler (24/96, – 192, DSD, DoP), the clock and the atomic clock (Perfection10). Today some electronic parts are smaller, the possibilities wider but the design, construction and the fantastic musical transportation is still outstanding.
