Today I came back from Vienna New Town, a famous small city south of Vienna. I visited my friend who bought some units from me, improved those. I was really amazed about the PC idler drive with Pierre Clement power unit and the EMT 977 tonearm on the EMT R80 carrying an Ortofon A90 in an EMT headshell.
on top of it I could see one of the best Mellotron collections in the world, all built brands were assembled. Reel to reel recorders were one of the highlights, Studer C37, A807, A80, Nagra IV-S with big reels, Telefunken M15, Technics 1500.
The Sound was excellent!

What an amazing collection! I love it.. at one time I had at least as many pieces, but never all in use at one time!
Thanks for sharing. What type of platter is he using on the EMT R80? I think the 997 would sound good on most anything.
