playing the famous Commodore recordings of the 30ies and 40ies via my Mono chain is a wonderful retreat into these times of Swing. Benny Goodman, Benny Carter, Roy Eldrige, Coleman Hawkins, Pee Wee Ellis, Willi the Lions Smith and many others are appearing. The Mosaic records provide a very nice quality. It is a warm and soft atmosphere bathing into the mood of days of smooth swing-Jazz.
