Since “Beds are burning“ or “Put down that weapon” the rock community knows them pretty well.
Now they published their latest work “Resist“, very good and solid rock.
Put Down That Weapon:
Under the Waterline no place to retire. To another time the eyes of the world now turn. And if we think about it, and if we talk about it, and if the skies go dark with rain. Can you tell me. Does our freedom return.
Put down that weapon or we are all be gone. You can`t hide nowhere with the torch light on. And it happens to be an emergency. Some things arent meant to be. Some things don
`t come for free.
Above the waterline put the finger point on the bone. It`s the harbour towns that the grey metal ships call home. And if we think about it, and if we talk about it, and if the sea goes boiling black. Can you tell me wot you`ll do about that.
Put down that weapon or we all be gone. Must know some thing. To know its so wrong. You must be crazy if you think your strong. And it happens to be an emergency. Some things arent meant to be. Some things don
`t come for free.

Cat Empire is different but also quite popular…a mix of latin and rock music.

Beautiful boxed set. I think I have most of these. I’m still trying not to buy recent pressings if I have the originals. I have found that in most cases, the original pressings sound better, more dynamic. Often however, they are not a quiet as they newer pressings.
Excellent post. Love the turntable.

You ´ re right Norman regarding the quality of the pressings in general. These are wonderful reissues. As the vinyl pressings of the Cat Empire are very rare (Two shoes records) I had to buy more for some money.
