last month I visited SEPEA company, based in Nove Mesto nad Vahom, Slovacia.

100 km north east of Bratislava you will reach this nice but small town. Peter Sedlak who owns this business sine 25 years is a well known collector and re-manufacturer of reel to reel machines, Studer, Telefunken, StellaVox, Otari, Tascam, ATR etc.

SEPEA owns a huge building (nicely renovated) with many rooms, a large warehouse and a magnificent recording studio. With 12 people, highly trained technicians and staff, Peter is running this business. You will not believe it but he records his own master tapes, is selling these and other international productions.

When you are walking around you get an idea how it looked at STUDER or TELEFUNKEN some 45 years ago, before they were delivering their machines to customers.

Usually Peter visits and displays at the High End in Munich, from 2026 in Vienna.
