the High End in Vienna has ended. Regardless which location might be better as ideal for the High-End consumers, Munich, Vienna, RMFA (Denver), CES (Las Vegas) or Axiona it is all limited by the proper room sizes and the careful installation of the exhibitors. I liked most the Kharma room but it is a costly investment in a good room and in matching room absorbers.
I was very happy having met my audio friends from Munich and my Vienna friend -Erich, the Mellotron Man (see this blog). We exchanged a lot about tapes and vintage gear. Next step was to get in touch with Volker Lange, the Horch man, now at ReVox. 10 years ago he sold me master tape copies for a small amount. Times have changed. He was in deep discussion with the Deep Purple guys. And he convinced me going for the Hans Thessink & Terry Evan’s „the analog session Vienna“ tape.
Having returned to my „listening room“ I do enjoy this recording event at the Supersense location in Vienna of the year 2017. Four moths later Terry Evan’s passed away. R.I.P.

Hallo,
Karsten

Hallo Karsten,
Ja, Live in Stockholm 1970 von Deep Purple. Volker Lange was very glad to show it. He will also sell the new Deep Purple record (go to ReVox Horch site).
Best
