A new live solo album by Cameron Winter is the big shot at the moment. Cameron is the singer songwriter and frontman of the band Geese. He is performing at Carnegie Hall in December 2025. The 23 year old is sitting on a bench while playing a Steinway piano and singing into a microphone with a voice unbelievable as it is, a hangdog baritone.

It reminds me of Bob Dylan in 1963, Joni Mitchell in 1969, Carole King in 1971. Some find Winter‘s voice unbearable monotonous . Others find something about its cadences mesmerising, as if he is lulling you into an alternate world.
Especially in autumn sitting in front of a good chain you will love the atmosphere at Carnegie Hall with Winters fantastic guidance through his songs. Big recommendation!
