At my big Micro Seikis I made the best practical experience with the “fil de lin glace extra” (black) from Sajou.
as some friends were asking me I would like to share the source. I am not living in France, I have no relation at all with that company. No one of my family or my friends, even not my blog partner (but he gave me the recommendation!), are working for them …

a SF-1 in a good condition is an excellent choice as well. When it comes to driving a fly wheel I prefer the thread on both sides.

Have you compared also with the Micro’s K-5/15 kevlar thread.
I’m looking for option to my RX-5000.
