E. I find that so many people in the ‘high end’ ignore these fine gems. Many feel that only MC cartridges are the ones to consider. Changing the load and finding the ‘correct’ tonearm makes a huge difference.

you’re absolutely right! In fact you need a good phono pre (e.g. the EMT JPA66) for proper MM loading.
Even with MCs you need finding the correct matching spool on the other side of the cartridge’s spool. But most people do not care at all. The difference is the knowledge, a kind of investment and the will to experiment.
