I first got in deep contact with Audio Technica when I aquired my various Signet MM carts (Audio Technica in the US). At the 50th Anniversary of AT I invested in MM and MC carts.

I don’t believe I have ever met anyone who didn’t like audio technica cartridges. So many to enjoy, and some MC models have ‘user replacement’ styli assemblies just like their MM counterparts. My vintage AT14s with Shibata stylus is just wonderful. I’ve never mentioned it Eckart, but your photography is superb!

Thank you Norman. Fine that you like the images. In our “small world” they may give a different view on these gems. I guess it is the biggest adventure diving into these different designs, couldn’t stay with one solution like the radio DJs did in the 60ies and 70ies. It was a different utilisation in those days. Just had a wonderful experience with a vintage Sony cart, a XL 88. Brings Eric Clapton from the Royal Albert Hall (Live at his 70th) into the listening room…
