Over 60 years ago technicians took the highest commitment in excellent recording and playback processes as we are seeing in the playback room (Telefunken T9u) and the cutting room (Neumann AM31) on the images taken from the new book Vinyl Lexikon by Frank Wonneberg (Schwarzkopf & Schwarzkopf 2016).



The following image shows my Micro-Seiki installation coming with a special 24 Kg platter, an additional black SDP platter and two VPI/SDS flywheel drives, also enabling a high quality adventure. So – it seems not so much has changed?

 It did- just look at the many different needle cuttings…
