2nd tonearm on the EMT R-80

by a very special fixation at the shockabsorbing frame of the EMT I put a piece of aluminum with a build in Micro-Seiki arbor, taking up the SME I or other arms.

  1. Eckart,

Is your 997 a vintage original from the early 70’s or is it a new production?

You mentioned that the older arms sound better (wiring, etc), would this be the case with the 997 as well?

Could you please email me a clear shot of your listening space from behind the turntables? ( with the background in focus, like the second shot in this post)? (I have been explaining your system and listening space to my wife).

    Thanks always for your help!
    Norman
