I am following the band in its last 45 years. Nevertheless becoming 50 years old they now published one of their best albums, Coat of Arms. The German LP version is brilliantly pressed and sounds just great. I had the chance to see Wishbone Ash end of February at their 50th Anniversary Tour while Andy Powell nearly lost his voice…nevertheless playing excellent. What makes the sound so interesting is their twin guitar playing which Thin Lizzy and Iron Maiden adopted.

Two more Jazz LPs I like to recommend: Wolfgang Haffner – Kind of Tango and Wolfgang Muthspiel – Angular Blues. Both recordings are well made and do comprise an extraordinary selection of musicians. Worth to buy!
