Azimuth Adjustment

I always used a visually adjustment of the Azimuth. Usually I took a listening session whether the Azimuth was set correctly which always went fine!

Nevertheless I was interested if an electronical measurement will bring the same results or if I have to readjust.

The Sperling PDM-1 Azimuth Controller is now in place. I will report about my findings:

  1. There’s a software based turntable set-up tool called Analog Magik. Given all the turntables, tonearms ans cartridges you own, maybe it could be a good option for you. A friend of mine let me try it in his house and I found it really usefull.
