  2. Eckart,

Because of you my dear friend, I bought an EMT 927 and the Brinkman Oasis. I don’t miss the Brinkman, but I do miss the massive, wonderful EMT. It is the one turntable, that anyone can clearly hear a difference when compared to anything else. Pace, Pitch and Power, no matter what you listen to. I regret selling it. Yes, I am still using my modified Dual 1229 with a GRACE 747 tonearm, and my Garrad 301 with a SME 3009. As good as they are, it’s just not the same experience. Amazing collection Eckart. Do you regret selling any of them?

    • Norman,
You have seen that I made a long way to nowadays turntable heaven! It was my motivation to experiment with different technologies, tonearms and carts. I regret of selling most – but there was no other way to improve and find room for other devices. Of all makers I was most impressed by Micro Seiki and ended up with one table in a different setting driven by two fine motors and a special 20,8 kg platter from the US. It was quite a heavy transport from Hongkong by plane done by a good friend who builds exceptional turntables by himself.
My Mono-table is the Denon while the Caeles II is as special (air bearing) as the Continuum is.
